Unfinished In February

I spent around a week in February attempting to make my way through Once Upon A River by Diane Setterfield but sadly I just wasn't feeling invested in the story and finally decided it would be best to return it to the library and move on to something else. In contrast, after really enjoying Truly Devious I decided to pick up the sequel The Vanishing Stair which I'm currently around halfway through; so far so good. I also picked up The Wangs vs The World (Jade Chang) a couple of days ago, which is one of my 'vow to read' books over on Blogger's Bookshelf this year.

February's Book Of The Month

It's actually pretty tricky for me to choose a favourite from February as I really enjoyed the majority of the books I read and they were all very different. Format-wise Sadie was my favourite, with the podcast chapters woven throughout, but I think for my overall February favourite I'm going to have to go with Truly Devious!

On March's TBR

Our March book club theme is 'an animal or creature in the title' so I've chosen to tackle a book that's been sitting on my TBR for a couple of years (and it's sequel!); Wolf By Wolf (Ryan Graudin). I'm also planning to finish both The Vanishing Stair and The Wangs vs The World, as well as my next physical library reservation which is Where The Crawdads Sing (Delia Owens). In addition to my always lengthy physical library reservations list, I also recently signed up for their digital service so have a few ebooks and audiobooks headed my way too.
