February's Reading Goal Progress

I haven't managed to pick out as many titles that fit the Popsugar prompts this month but did cross off 'Set In A Library' and 'Characters Who Are Twins' thanks to Murakami's wonderfully weird The Strange Library and Jasmine Warga's heartfelt YA contemporary Here We Are Now.

Station Eleven also helped me to cross another title off of my 'vow to read' list and my unread Kindle books folder.

February's Purchases

I made one Kindle purchase in February - which if you read this recent post you'll know was a terrible idea - but after finishing Broadcast I discovered another of the author's novels Wild Life was only 99p so I couldn't resist. I'll just have to make sure I make time to read it soon!

February's Book Of The Month

I gave out three four star ratings this month to Station Eleven (Emily St John Mandel), The Strange Library (Haruki Murakami) and Broadcast (Liam Brown) which would have to be my book of the month for February!

I chose Broadcast as the March selection for our BB book club and decided to pre-read it in advance so I could create some additional content inspired by it. I actually went a little crazy with my highlighters and ended up reading it twice in February! If you'd like to join in with the BB book club just pick up a copy of Broadcast and send us your feedback via this Google form by March 23rd - I'd love to hear your thoughts!
